“[...]; it´s something useless, sudden, violent; something that costs a life; red, blue, purple; a spirit; a splash;[...]; free from taint, denpendence, soilure of humanity or care for one´s kind; something rash, ridiculous,[...], ecstasy – it´s ecstasy that matters.”(Viginia Woolf, Orlando)
A highly tuned car will be placed in front of the exhebition space so as if just parked there for a short time. The car is filled up with a sound system, strong amplifiers and speakers, especially bass speakers.
Outside the car you can hear sound from inside. Loud bass sound which is generated out of a passage of Virginia Woolf´s Orlando. A boy is playing with a toyboat in a pond. The play becomes his world and reality, the pond the ocean. It his devotion that strikes the author.
The music/text will play continiously in the car. From outside you can feel and hear the vibrations of bass sound.
